Ministries

Love God and love people…this is the Great Command of God.  How do we know?  Jesus was asked of all the commands, which one was most important. He said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”  All of our ministries serve to help people love God and one another.

The Great Commission is our mandate to make disciples of Jesus.  Jesus called the church to “go and make disciples.”  Disciples are people who through the encouragement of the scriptures and through the friendship of fellow Christians grow to become more like Jesus.  What we are attempting to do through all of our ministries is to build people’s lives.  Constructing godly lives is our purpose and calling.

When we learn of God’s love we love him more.  When we know and experience the love of God we love others just as Christ Jesus loves us.  Great friendships are formed and the world becomes a little more redeemed through all of our ministries.  This is how people are changed to be more like the Lord.  So come and take part in the ministry program that will advance your life in your walk with God.
